Better Together
Janice Faye’s Ranch provides a 12-week experiential equine-assisted skill building program for kids and families in crisis from age 8+ at no charge to participants. Certified Equine Specialists partner rescued horses with youth and families to develop, practice and master pro-social skills including interpersonal, problem solving, anger management, academic enhancement, vocational development and other life skills to reduce unacceptable behavior and empower pro-social peer relationships.
The activities shared with participants are from the Teen Sense group activity guide for at-risk youth designed by Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc. Attendees realize they’re in a safe place and that there is power in finding their voice and telling their story in a positive way through group work and individual partnership with horses while under the supervision of
an equine assistant. Tutors are on-hand to assist with educational opportunities.
Monthly and quarterly progress reports are e-mailed to referring agencies.
To ensure sessions continue no matter what the weather, we invite you to be a part of this transformational giving project for a much-needed covered arena. As we serve the families at Janice Faye’s Ranch, we’re reminded of how God gave His life for us and desires that no one be left behind.
That is our goal at Janice Faye’s Ranch—that no-one be left behind academically or emotionally.
Won’t you consider a monthly or one-time gift in making this project a reality? Or, consider gifting in memory or recognition of a family member or business that’s made an impact on your life or the life of someone you love?
Your gift could change the trajectory of a child’s life and thus a family’s life.
Let’s be the change we need to see in the world—-one heart at a time!
